Activities For Alateen, Preteen, and Children

The Mountain Conference is ideal for participation by Alateens, Preteens, Tweens, and Children. All outdoor activities are open to Alateen participation, and separate Alateen activities are scheduled. Alateen meetings and workshops are for those 13 and older ONLY. There are also programs, meetings, and activities each day for Preteens (ages 10-12) and Tweens (ages 7-9).

A NOTE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Registering children (7-12) indicates your willingness to volunteer for one afternoon children’s program (3:15-5:15 p.m.)

A program for children 7-12 is available daily beginning on Tuesday morning. Fees vary depending on the activity. Activities include horseback riding, rafting, rock climbing and swimming.

During the evening meetings, the Conference will provide child care for registered children, free of charge, at Kids’ World. This service is offered to those children 12 and younger who are registered, and whose parent(s) are registered. Parents must pick up their children no later than 10:30 p.m.
